The
Sussex Championships 2010 will be held at Olympos Leisure Centre,
Burgess Hill on the weekend of 8-10 October 2010. Please keep checking
this page for more information.
The following clubs will be appearing over the weekend: 1066, Arun, Bevendean, Brighton & Hove, CACL, Hawth, Hollington, Horsham, Pyramid, Southbourne, Stars, Summerfields, Uckfield, Wickers.
If you want to get involved, please let us know. We are always on the lookout for help and new ideas. Please down-load the posters and flyers from this page and promote this event in your club. We would like to see as many people as possible at the competition.
Sponsors
We would love some more sponsors. Do think about it if you are involved in a local business. There are trade stands during the weekend, advertising space in the programme and adverts on the plasma screens. Please down-load the leaflet 'Sponsor request' from the downloads list if you are interested.
Any adverts need to be received by Richard Keasley (Hawth GC) in their final form (preferably on disk) by 17 September. Perhaps your club would like to place an advert in the programme, or maybe there is a business being run by a parent associated with your club who could benefit by placing an advert.

BG membership
Please ensure all gymnasts entered in this event are silver members of British Gymnastics by 1 October. Be aware that you can renew your BG membership now, you do not have to wait. We will check the BG membership status of gymnasts and coaches, and gymnasts who are not silver members or higher will be removed from the running order, and will not be allowed to compete.
Entries & timetable
The complete list of entries can be down-loaded here. If there are any mistakes at all, please make the effort to tell Richard Keasley (Hawth GC) as soon as possible.
There will be no need for a qualification competition for any disciplines.
The running order will be published here in the next few days. However, it will be arranged roughly as follows:
Saturday morning : Team Gym
Saturday afternoon : Acrobatics, Tumbling
Sunday morning : Women's Artistic, Women's Floor & Vault (Bronze)
Sunday afternoon: Men's Artistic, Men's Floor & Vault, Women's Floor & Vault (Silver & Gold)
Please have a look at the jobs allocation. Clubs need to perform their alloted task, so make sure you understand what is required before the weekend.
Next meeting
The next meeting will be held at 8.30pm on Wednesday 29th September, at Olympos Leisure Centre. All clubs must be represented at this meeting. All trophies must be returned at this meeting.
