The most prestigious event on the British artistic gymnastics calendar will take place from the Friday 28th to Sunday 30th March 2014 at Echo Arena in Liverpool.
The 2014 British Championships will pit Olympic, World and European medallists against each other along with Britain's best rising gymnastics stars. Over the three day event, juniors and seniors compete for their respective all-around titles and also in individual apparatus
British Gymnastics is delighted to announce the appointment of Roy Headey as the new Head of Performance Sport (Olympic Performance Director).
Currently Head of Sports Science at the Rugby Football Union (RFU), Roy joins British Gymnastics with vast experience in both sport management and sport science having previously worked as Head of English Institute of Sport, Head of Operations SportEngland World Class Programmes and non-executive director of the Olympic boxing programme.

The prestigious Pat Wade Classic took place on the 23rd and 24th of November at Fenton Manor in Stoke on Trent. The international acrobatic gymnastics competition included some of Great Britain's top gymnasts alongside international stars from the USA, Australia, France, Belgium and Russia. The event included age group, junior and senior gymnasts competing in dynamic, balance and combined finals.
Team England gymnastics squad have come away from the 2013 World School Games in Brazil with an impressive 13 medals. With England's Nile Wilson earning five of these in an outstanding individual performance.
In the men's team competition, Wilson was joined by Joe Fraser, Hamish Carter, Giarni Regini-Moran and Jay Thompson who fought hard to earn themselves the silver medal (249.150) behind Russia (253.100) in gold and ahead of France in bronze (241.450).

Competing amongst the best all-around gymnasts in the world Dan scored 89.931, with Ukrainian Oleg Vernyayev in gold with 92.165 and German star Fabian Hambüchen (90.264) taking the silver. Dan's clean competition included the top score of the day on floor of 15.500.
In the women's event Ruby Harrold finished fifth (55,099) with the highest score on bars for her complex and original routine scoring 14.700.

Sofia (BUL): Kristof Willerton led the British medal charge on the final day of the 2013 trampoline, tumbling and DMT World Championships taking the tumbling gold with Lucie Colebeck winning tumbling silver and Nicole Short DMT bronze.
Kristof's title winning tumbles scored him 38.200 and 26.700 for 74.900, .100 ahead of nearest rival Murtazaev of Russia with British teammate Greg Townley scoring 67.300 for 8th spot. Lucie powered to silver thanks to passes scoring 33.600 and 33.800 for 67.400 with Rachael Letsche in 7th (63.000).
